Groenkloof Gardens comprises of 118 houses available on life right or own title. The Gardens shares community and administrative facilities with Groenkloof Woods. Security in the Gardens comprise of access control and an electrified perimeter fence.
Gardens residents, 50 years and older, live independently in their homes and are able to perform activities of daily living independently. Although they are self-sufficient, they have immediate access to either short-, transitional-, or long-term care options should they need it. In addition, they enjoy health services such as an emergency stabilisation service, a panic button for 24-hour medical emergencies, weekday clinic services, advance care planning, and as Groenkloof residents, preferential admission to the Care Unit.
Gardens residents may order meals from the kitchen. However, they are exempted from Groenkloof’s compulsory 10 meals per person per month policy.
All Gardens residents belong to the Homeowners’ Association which looks after the shared interests of the Gardens residents and owns and manages communal infrastructure and facilities and ensures the financial stability of the Village.
Gardens residents share communal facilities with Woods residents. These facilities are situated in the Jan Pienaar Centre, Woods, and comprise offices, meeting rooms, the dining room, braai facilities, recreation rooms, and a library.
All Groenkloof residents have access to the communal facilities at the Hub. The facilities promoting social interaction are the following:
All Groenkloof residents have preferential access to the Groenkloof Care Units in George or Great Brak River where long-term- and palliative care is offered.

Groenkloof Gardens is situated to the south of Groenkloof Woods. Entry to the village is from Hardepeer Avenue.
From Knysna Road turn into Mount Vista Drive. At the stop street, turn right into Groenkloof Avenue, and turn right into Groenkloof Boulevard. At the stop sign, turn left into Hardepeer Avenue and turn right at the entrance gate to Groenkloof Gardens, opposite Groenkloof Woods
